1st Orlando Claims Association CE Seminar & Cook-Off Friday, May 11, 2012
2012 marks the 1st Annual OCA CE Seminar and Cook-Off Event. This event will be held at Maitland's Sheraton Orlando North Hotel. A two hour ethics CE general session kicks off the event, followed by a break. The attendees then split off into either the property or casualty track. The property track includes a two hour law CE session, a break and then a one hour optional CE session. The casualty track includes a two hour law CE session, a break and then a one hour optional CE session. So whether you are a property or casualty adjuster, you will walk away with two (2) Ethics CEs, two (2) Law CEs and one (1) Optional CE for a total of five (5) CEs that will be filed with the state upon completion. In addition to the CE seminar, there will be an exhibit hall featuring statewide insurance professionals from the area. An opportunity to win a Cruise for two will be offered by OCA as a grand prize to those eligible attendees. Now that we have your attention, we will continue the afternoon with a rib cook-off competition! This competition will be judged by a panel of seven judges. The judges are comprised of various claim managers from greater Central Florida and our current OCA President. The best part is, the cook-off competition teams will be making plenty of ribs and sides for the attendees, and YOU will get to be the judges for the "People's Choice" trophy. We also need cook-off competition teams to test their skills in the rib arena. If you think you have what it takes, we want you to prove it! Limited space will undoubtedly lead to a quick sell out.
